30g flour

1 pinch of salt

1 teaspoon La Patelière baking soda

230g butter

100g sugar

150g brown sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon La Patelière vanilla paste

200g La Patelière milk chocolate chunks without cocoa

You can mix black and milk chunks for an even more indulgent result.

Recipe

Let's get baking!

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking soda.
  3. In another bowl, vigorously beat the butter, vanilla paste, and sugars.
  4. Then add the eggs (one at a time).
    Gradually add the flour mixture.
  5. Add the milk chocolate chunks.
  6. Form balls on parchment paper (space them well apart as they will spread).
  7. Place them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes (optional).
  8. Bake for 10 minutes, keeping an eye on them.
  9. When you take them out of the oven, you can add a few chunks on top so that they melt slightly. You can also sprinkle a little salt on top.
