INGREDIENTS

150g melted butter, cooled

140g caster sugar

250g melted chocolate

3 eggs

60g flour

100g La Patelière milk chocolate chunks without cocoa

100g La Patelière dark chocolate chunks without cocoa

1 pinch of salt

1 teaspoon La Patelière vanilla paste

Top tip

You can mix black and milk chunks for an even more indulgent result.

Recipe

Let's get baking!

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  2. Line a rectangular baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. Gently melt the butter with the chocolate.
  4. Add the sugar, mix well, then let cool to room temperature.
  5. Stir in the vanilla paste, then add the eggs one at a time, whisking gently by hand.
  6. In another bowl, sift the flour, then add it to the mixture. Mix until smooth, without overworking the dough.
  7. Then add ¾ of the non-cocoa chunks and pour the mixture into your pan. Sprinkle the rest of the chunks over the top.
  8. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the desired texture.
