Preparation of the frangipane:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Pour the frangipane mixture into a mixing bowl, then add 3.5 ounces of melted butter and 1 ounce of water.
- Mix until you have a smooth paste.
Préparation of the galette :
- Roll out the first sheet of puff pastry.
- Spread the frangipane mixture over it, leaving a 3 cm border around the edges.
- Place the bean inside.
- Cover with a second sheet of puff pastry.
- Seal the edges well with a fork. Make sure there are no holes, otherwise your frangipane will leak during baking.
Brush with a mixture of 1 egg yolk and 1 tablespoon of water and bake for 30 minutes at 350°F.
