Preparation of the crumble :
In a small bowl, mix the ingredients together. Set aside in the refrigerator until the muffins are ready to bake.
Preparation of apple chocolate muffins :
- Wash, peel, and cut the apples into small cubes and set aside.
- In a large bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Add the brown sugar, sugar, and salt, and mix.
- Mix together the liquid ingredients: eggs, cream, oil, and milk.
- Pour them over the dry ingredients and stir gently with a spatula until the flour is almost incorporated.
- Add the apple cubes and La Patelière 3-chocolate chunks, stir.
6. Preheat your oven to 210°C and line your muffin tin with paper cases.
Fill the cases almost to the top.
7. Cover with a generous amount of crumble and bake for 5 minutes at 210°C. After 5 minutes, lower the temperature to 180°C and continue baking for 15 minutes.
