At La Patelière, we have been expertly extracting vanilla since 1981. From the beans, we create our own extracts and macerates to make our own vanilla sugars.

Quality first

To offer the very best vanilla, we only use Bourbon Vanilla (Vanilla planifolia) from Madagascar — the birthplace of vanilla — which has intense woody notes.

We also use Papua New Guinea vanilla (Vanilla tahitensis), which enjoys more floral, delicate notes.
